Stained Glass for Beginners

An introduction to the centuries-old craft of forming leaded glass windows

Students acquire a basic understanding and skill as they build a panel with stained glass. The workshop introduces you to two basic methods of stained glass construction—one using lead came and the other using copper foil and lead solder. With this foundation in stained glass making, you will be able to construct larger, more complex window projects, as well as simple projects such as three-dimensional glass boxes and sun-catchers.
