In this workshop you will learn how to use circular knitting needles, how to cast on using a different
cast-on method, how to increase and decrease the number of stitches on a knitting needle, how to work
a rib stitch pattern (the pattern most often used for borders on sweaters and other garments), how to calculate
your gauge, how to read and follow a printed knitting pattern, and we will review how to correct simple mistakes.
For the class project, you will learn to knit a woolen hat using these skills. Circular needles and yarn are included
in the materials fee.
