We will teach you the essentials of how to care for a milk cow. We begin by explaining the advantages of having a milk cow and then proceed to the following topics: breeds of milk cows, purchasing a milk cow, necessary equipment, housing and fencing, pasture management and feeds, health issues, breeding, calving and hands-on milking of the family cow during the class.
