Beginning Blacksmithing

In our introductory class, our blacksmiths teach about the equipment and skills of the blacksmith’s shop: the forge and tools as well as the specific hand methods of blacksmithing, including upsetting, simple scroll work, twists and drawing out the steel on the anvil.
